DAY SEVEN: Safely in St. Louis

More details to follow, but we've made it to St. Louis, after extending our Kansas City stay by a just a bit. Had a wonderful morning of breakfast at local diner legend "Chubby's," spent several hours in the Jazz and Negro League museums, hit Arthur Bryant's (again) for a going out of town lunch, and then headed out on Interstate 70 for the relatively quick jaunt to St. Louis. More photos and details to come. For now, enjoy this bonus photo, of Car Woody at Zion National Park.

okay, i wasnt going to say anything but it's getting a bit rediculous. it is a well-known photography fact that pictures are FAR more interesting if you can make a personal connection to them by, say, having somone you know step up under the blue room sign and smiling. or even frowning. i'm not pick. and woody is great, really he is, but that whole lawn elf thing was done in some movie long ago and i am going to speak on behalf of all your friends (even the ones i've never met) and say that we'd rather have one or both of you up in them pictures. if i wanted a picture of some rock formation without you i could just go download it off one of the many internets we have in this great country. and sure, now there's a rock formation with woody, but i could just photoshop that in. so why dont you hold woody in your pictures? eh? good compromise? anyway, travel safe, and i look forward to seeing more pictures with you in them. loveliza

I appreciate the shout out in the earlier post (I would have replied to it this weekend but the comments module was updating very very slowly). It's very nice to be noticed.

I would also respectfully submit that Truman's house is very very assuming.

I would also like more pictures. The political commentary however is not necessary. Don't you love how demanding commenters can be?
